Part 1

Am updating again… Finally….

people started telling me to update… -_- o well..

Ok.. After A’s… slack and bumming around.. Playing guitar.. Went for prom on a Thursday if I remember. Kind of fun because of the company there. But the food was really bad. Edible.. but bad..

Went home after Prom. Left for N.Y. airport on the 7th Dec the next morning.. took SQ.. a direct 18 hours killer flight…. My dad was suppose to sit business class as he’s already spoiled by it due to his business flights. But he felt bad leaving the family behind in economy. So what he did ( stupidly but also good ) was to upgrade my whole family to business class… Still. Sitting business class for 18 hours was a killer… watched tons of movies but will soon realize there’s another 10 hours to kill.. so what you do? Bum around on the plane at the buffet table at the back and talk to the airhostess..

Arrived in New Wark airport at about 5.45pm on the 9th of Dec. it was about 2 deg.C Took a cab with a rather reckless, hot-tempered yet skillful cab driver. Checked into Hilton New York and went straight to some pasta restaurant to eat. As expected. Portions were huge….

The Hilton Newyork sucks. The only good thing is that its very centralize. Just a 5min walk to Times Square and all. But accomodations aside.. The city itself is so vibrant and happening. 3 am in the night and the roads are still full. It’s a one of a kind city. Exactly like how the movies potrayed it. And one thing about New York that fascinates me is the organization of the roads. Its like a graph paper. The X-axis are the avenues and the Y-axis are the streets. So its easy to locate shops and restaurants ( for eg. 54th street 3rd avenue) .

Erm second day my family went on a short 5 hour tour to tour the city. Showed us some tourist attractions like the Statue of Liberty, Empire State, ground zero and even the GhostBusters hideout, MIB headquarters and the triangular building in Spiderman.

tt night.. Jet lag.. dad woke me up in the middle of the night cos he was doing some business.

Third day. Went to catch a broadway show.. Monta Pythons Spamalot. People who love british comedies. Its so for them.. MY dad, bro and I laughed non-stopped ( almost literally) while my mom kept asking me why we are laughing, totally oblivious to whats going on. After that, my dad brought me to a guitar shop called guitarcenter while my mom and bro went to do some shopping at the famours 5th Ave.. At first, “future SLASH” told me to go to the guitarcenter in Orlando. But it dawned on me that theres one in manhattan too. Haha. Was mesmerized by the amount of guitars they have.. Tried the PRS CE24 and gibsons standards LP 60s and 50s neck. Chose a desertburst Gibson standard 60s neck LP in the end. Sound and feel was the best among all that I tried. But the looks aint that good. Quite a few scratches and all. O well. Afterall, it’s the sound of the guitar which matters most.

The subsequent day… my mom brought my bro and me to Rockafeller center when my dad went to meet a business client. The center had some statues made entirely of gold and had a skating ring around a big Christmas Tree.

In the Afternoon. We took a domestic 3-hour continental flight to Orlando Florida . I had troubles carrying my guitar. Had to put it in the overhead compartment. During takeoff, I could hear the case bumping ard here and there. My heart was breaking. I felt helpless!

Arrived at Orlando Florida at about 5 o clock in the afternoon… Took some “ Magic Disney Express” to the Disney Contemporary Resort.. was hugging my guitar through the half-an-hour trip.. Floridas a really really nice place.. No mountains and hills. Just flat ground with still lakes. Very peaceful. Like me =p But i personally like mountains in the horizon type of stuff.. Cant take my eyes of thoseeee....

this is extremely ramdon due to the many days i haven been blogging.

its strange.. really... the way i felt.. when i saw her.... i felt as if i wanted the feeling to go away.. but at the same time... wanted it to stay with me... it was like.. mixed emotions... my heart kinda missed hundreds of beats... butterflies were in my stomach... but i was in "pain".... i really do not understand this.. sigh...

people tell me to move on in life... y is it so difficult? it seems to be inextricable and i catch myself lost in thought every now and then..... sometimes i just wish i could escape to a land with much peace and tranquility for a while... with the soft rustling of trees and lush green grass... and let my thoughts wonder freely...

well theres nothing much i can do right now.... as to wad will happen. only time will tell....

ok many stuff happened so far... blog test... nvm tt.... but at least its a wake up call.... NO MORE SLACKING JY.. wa come to think of it... studying just before the exam is really digging my own grave..

like i said.. nvm tt..... bought some guitar pedals.. rammstein, ehx flanger.......... and some other pedals.... thinking about buying a takamine semi acoustic/prs/gib..... arghh all the wants.....

haha man.. CNY is soo darn slack... i haven done any homework yet!! haven written a word for the past few days!!! hahaha! this rockz!!!

ytd went out with alex to parkway... we had a dam great time there.. started doing stupid stuff and all.. and then.. he went to this game shop in parkway (basement) when something caught his eye... gameboy WII... he immediately took out his phone.. " Mom come now.. the gameboy WII is out already............................. (a long pause)............................. ok see you. call me when you reach"

i was like..... YOUR MOMS GONNA COME DOWN RIGHT NOW TO BUY IT?!?!?!?!? and he was like.... erm yeah?...... -_- hahahaha while waiting for his mom.. we started crapping out more with the shop uncle.. Uncle Tony.. found out he is a actor in Singapore movies.. ALL singapore movies.... haha.. no wonder he looked so familiar...

alex mom came after a while.. had to carry some wine bottles for her... went to the shop.. she inquired a bit on the WII... finally bought it after 15min...

THEN... ALEX SUDDENLY INVITED ME OVER TO SET UP IN HIS HOUSE AND PLAY... i w as like..... yea man y not..... i cant believe it... Its so high tech now... u gotta swing ur arms with the controllers in your hand while playing tennis and all.. really really cool.. haha... ucan also choose wad shot type? like top spin or flat or loopy shots... haha.. and the players are really really cute.....

Today.. first day of CNY.. visited grandma house.. came back.. some visitors were here... then went visiting together woth those visitors... then called alex to ask if i could go over again.... he agreed..

so had much fun again.... with his bro.. playing warrior wear ( i dun really know how to spell it), baseball, golf, boxing, tonyhawk..... after a few hours... alex and i decided to go to Macs at Siglap to grab a bite.. ended up eating 2 cheeseburgers... 2 med fries and a chocolate sundae.. haha..

came back home feeling really really bloated.... had to go visiting again at night.. to my dads friends house.. my dads friends son had some friends over. wow they look really bandit.. had tatoos and all.. but i still could clix with them.. somehow... haha.. they're very funny.... gambled with them... won about 20 bucks only.. haha... got home at around 1.... and now... right this very moment i am typing this. its 1.56am..... tmr a dam long day again.... haha nvm.. get more angbaos!!!!!!!!! haha

My cough has recovered. Finally.... after weeks of suffering!! Had to suffer alot! no chocolate.. no biscuits.. no cold drinks... no singing... arghhh..

Have not been going school.. Had to take this ultra drowsy cough medicine at night.. had always failed to wake up.... My CT kept calling my parents everytime i did not go to school. i mean.... whats the point of calling my parents? as if they can do anything about it!!!!! to make matters worse.. when i was sleeping in the morning.. my CT called my house and woke me up to ask me how i was... then, my mom called me again and woke me up (again) to tell me my CT called and that she doesnt want me to skip school anymore... at that point in time.. i was kinda pissed.. I'M SICK FOR GOODNESS SAKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

DEN............. my DAD called! to tell me my CT called him too!! i did not know muy CT so free... and said the same thing as my mom.... gosh... so much for a good sleep.... arghhh..

arghh anyway.... went out with lele and sean today.. watched ghost rider... its a really nice show. juz that theres too little action... but other than that.. its really cool.. the way he changes and all.. haha.. the most "wtf" thing.. is tt when nicholascage destroyed some guitars.. lele and i was like.... NOOO!! i dunno y man.. gosh.... just imagine.. all the Fenders and Gibsons worth 10k go crashing onto the floor.. breaking into pieces... humbuckers lying around... Fretboards broken.. arghh

nvmnvm... its a movie worth watching....

arghh i'm really sick now.. my cough is becoming pue..... some ppl dun believe me.. as usual.. oh well....

did not go school on Friday.. CT called my parents up because i did not answer my phone in the morning.... She said sometimes i am tired in class.. oh well.. so my parents forced me to go to a medical checkup on saturday... had a blood test... darn it ached man. and the doctor sucked out like.. 3 test tubes worth of blood... i hare injections!! but why do i always have to go for injections!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !@#@#%!@#$

Auditions are coming... Gotta practice a bit more.. hahaa.. hoping for the best... aint gg training for a while.. training was the reason why my cough is so bad..

Today met alex in the bus... went to eat at pizza hut.. we were talking about the old times. the JY hunting season.. the crap we do in VS and all.. haha

gosh MJ is having the angel and mortal game.. compulsory to participate!! WHY!! arghh!!

Life is getting boring

Life is really getting boring... And i am starting to crap out more in class... Theres so much stuff (work) to do... i dunno where to start!

2 tests are coming. 1 maths 1 chem... gosh organic chem.. theres so many groups to learn!!!

Haven been jamming... Dom keeps backing out.. saying he is busy and all.... oh well.. i think we'll just go practise band coordination..... i juz started going back for training after a long MC for a wrist injury... it still kinda hurts. so i need a wrist guard.. played better den expected... could still hit the ball.. ball sense was still there... haha..

Some stuff happened in school this week. and now the class has kinda... broken up? weihow cracked a joke on this girl... causing the whole class to laugh... and her ego kinda burst.... now she aint talking to all of the guys except a few? well... if this is how friendship ends... its a pity... seriously... i dunno if she treasures friends or not.. but if doesnt matter. ok i must say we went too far... What else can we do than to say sincere sorry? is forgiving that hard?

People out there... Dun ever take ur friends for granted.. arghh i dunno how to express wad i wanna say... but........ all those broken friendships out there... please try to fix it... i dunno y but juz fix it...

Also... Whether u r a guy or a girl.. make sure no human takes advantage of u.. not even ur GF or BF... be smart... dun do so much for he/her and he/her doesnt appreciate it one bit....

i got a dilenma going on here

my dads friend say i must comfirm my order of a fender? cos its gonna be shipped in a week???

i dunno wad to do right now!! i ahve a few choices..

1 - Stick with the Fender.. ( single hum ) 1.5K
2- flying-V Dean Custom made Micheal Schenker ( double hum ) 1.2K
3- Gibson Les Paul ( needless to say how many hum) 1.4K
4- Gibson Higher Range Les Paul ( needless to say how many hum) ( let me not mention the price) lele u juz stfu..

its new years eve. going to have a party tonight... lele came my house today... his moms friend was having a party in my condo.. since he was bored.. he decided to come over.. haha.. played guit... restringed my semi-acoustic.. played wif my electric for a while.... den.. we ate Chachos while watching some movie.. haha.. the girl in the movie.... wooooooo... we finished 2 packets of Chachos in like.. 10 minutes.. gosh............... watched some tamil show too.... tried to decifer what in the world they were saying..... failed miserably.... played a bit of cs.. den he went home

i bought new headphones... kinda ex.. but oh well..... my bro broke my previous ones in like.. less than 2 weeks.. gosh... but nvm tt... juz found 2 free guitar lessons scratch card in a packet of guitarstrings i bought... theres only suppose to be one.. haha lucky me... been practising wakemeupinseptember the past few days.. its soo easy.. except for remembering wad strings to play.. kinda confusing....

The next fun thing i am looking forward to is New Years Eve.. and after that..............

Sigh.. Today nth much happened either.. woke up at like.. 11.... morning ritual..... lunch...... Used the com for about 3 hours.. Stupid Msn aint working but the internet is.. People say its because of the earthquake.. oh well.. re-dled msn.. but still couldnt work. so i gave up and played a bit of cs and winning eleven.... after a while.. was feeling kinda drowsy.. so i went to sleep at 4pm and woke up at 8pm.. and then it was playing my guitar and watching the Tv all the way....

if only i was still in Japan.. the food there rocks.. the sashimi.. the sushi.... kat-su-don... gosh... I WANNA GO BACK THERE...

its like.. when i arrived there, it was evening.. we went for dinner at some sushi place my uncle recommended.. Every restaurant we went in Japan were all recommended by my uncle since he had been there for more than.. 20 times? literally.. darn... the sushi in the restaurant was so good... but little did we know that it is just the average standard of sushi in Japan..

we went to the fishmarket to eat some curry rice... ok Gosh that was soo nice... never tasted such food before... okok and then we went to another sushi place near the fishmarket. ok tt was DELICIOUS!!! really! it was sooo fresh!!!! andd the waitress there was........................... haha nvm tt.... some friends of mine kept calling me horny when i talked about her......... I WASNT....

its like... 100 sing bucks for quality sashimi and sushi in japan per person... but its 300 sing bucks in Singapore! wad a rip offff.. come to think of it.. i rather sashimi&sushi than the burgers in US.. (In&out and Wendys) Yes i muz say the burgers are super duper gd.. but the taste of sashimi........................... unexplainable...... heavenly........ Sushi&Sashimi lovers out there.. u must go to Japan...

o and btw.. the way Singaporeans eat Jap food( mixing wasabi wif the soya sauce ) is totally WRONG!!! i got corrected 2 times!!! and........... Disneyland is borrringggg... 0% thrill..... arghhh.... i wanna go Magic Mountain ( US ).. heard from many its realli very fun.... much more thrilling than Disneyland or Universal Studios...

School's gonna start soon... just finished all my chem holiday hw.. left with some maths..

todays kinda boring... woke up at 12.. suppose to go to pizza hut to study with lele but he was too tired. oh well. woke up... did the necessary morning rituals and all.... made up my mind to finish the chem hw before i do anithing..

i'm waiting for a good friend to come back from France... wanna go meet up with him before school starts.. lucky guy... been to all parts of the world... sitting first class everytime.. man.. i will make sure i will be rich enough in the future to enjoy that luxury...

its sad realli.. the lifes of Singaporean students... wake up at 6 plus.. go to school.. come back home at ard 7 at night... the hardworking ones start on work immediately.. the slackers will slack through the night and do their homework just before they go to bed or not at all... and the whole routine starts all over again for about 10 months... and dont forget all the mini-exams and class tests we have along the way...... if i was given the choice to migrate.. i would migrate to venezuela or Norway(if can) or sth..... i mean its so much more peaceful... safe.... waking up to a breathtaking view of mountains and lakes........ of course still.. theres another side to it... but nvm that........ arghh still.. life must carry on.... for now..............
